Troubleshoot issues with guests receiving sms messages
Below are some possible reasons a guest may not receive an SMS message.
Has the guest opted-out of messages?
Every guest is given the option to opt out of all SMS messaging. If the guest chooses to opt out, whether intentionally or accidentally, they will no longer receive SMS communication related to their Parking Session.
If the guest has opted out, they can opt back in by texting START
to their original claim check message. Otherwise, you can submit a support ticket to request their number is removed.
Is the guest number correct?
This may seem obvious, but in many cases a guest may accidentally give the wrong number, or the phone number may have been entered incorrectly. Double check the country code if dealing with an international number.
International Numbers
While our platform supports international numbers, some countries have less support and may have difficulty receiving a message.
Network or Carrier Related Issues
In some cases, a message can not be delivered due to reasons outside of our control. This includes a variety of reasons, such as:
Landline or other unsupported device
Account or billing issues
Carrier outages
