When we take possession of a guest vehicle, we make note of any dings or dents on their car through the Parking Manager App. This way, if someone claims a new scratch or dent appeared during their stay, we have the proof that it was already there. A VDS should be completed on all valet vehicles, each time we park it.

Park the Vehicle
Secure the Keys
Place the keys on your carabiner prior to completing a VDS
Perform VDS
Take a walk around the vehicle to look for any existing damage. When you find damage, here's how to document:
Tap the area where the damage is present on the diagram of the vehicle
Check the boxes under Select Damage for applicable type
Select Add Photo and take a photo of the damage
You can take multiple photos of the damage
Tap Save and continue scanning the car for additional damage
Once you've thoroughly marked all damage on the vehicle, tap Save Survey to complete the VDS
Re-Parking a Vehicle
When re-parking an out and returning, you'll be prompted to complete a VDS each time the vehicle is placed back to Park status
Once the VDS is complete, make sure the windows are up, sunroof is close, and all doors are locked.
Way to go! You've successfully completed a VDS and have now safe-guarded our guest vehicle. Head back to the ramp to relentlessly serve our guests.
How many days has it been since the last claim at your location?
