Payment Reminders
Learn how the Payment Reminder feature works
The Payment Reminder feature assists with revenue collection by politely nudging the guest for payment after check in. Here's a quick overview of how it works...
The guest checks in and valets their vehicle.
~45 minutes after check in, the guest will receive an SMS message requesting payment.
If the guest does not pay, they will receive a daily notification to pay until their balance is settled.
Requirements
There are several conditions that must be met in order for the payment reminder to be sent.
Payment Reminders must be enabled for your overnight valet operation
The parking session must be active
The parking session must have a balance due
The parking session must have a valid guest phone number
Local time is between 9:00am and 10:00pm
If these conditions are not met, we will not send the reminder and instead try again later. Once the customer pays their balance in full, we will stop sending payment reminders.

Mobile Pay Operations
If you're location is using Mobile Pay, the goal of the payment reminder is to collect payment from the guest via their credit card.
On the day of the guest arrival, the following text message will be sent 45 minutes after check in.
Thank you for choosing valet! For the best experience, please settle your parking charges using the link below. [link to pay]
If the guest does not pay their balance, they will receive a follow up text message each day with the following message.
Just a friendly reminder to settle your parking charges using the link below. Thank you! [link to pay]
Bill to Room Operations
If you're location is setup for bill to room, the goal of the payment reminder is to collect the guest room details so we can bill to their room.
Each day starting with the guest check in day, the following message will be sent to the guest.
