Digital Tips
Learn how digital tipping works with our platform
When enabled at your location, the guest will have the option to leave a tip via their mobile device. These tips are automatically split amongst the valets working at the time the tip was received.
How it works
Each time a guest requests their vehicle, a notification will be sent to the location. When a valet selects the "Get Car" button, indicating they are retrieving the vehicle, the guest will receive a text message. This message will notify the guest that their vehicle is bring retrieved, and give them a link to leave a digital tip.
The guest will receive the notification to leave a gratuity when the vehicle is marked as Park.
App version must be 2.3.0 or higher for the tip notification on park to be sent to the guest.
How do tips get split?
Digital tips are split in the same fashion cash is split. Each time a shift change occurs, we split the current balance amongst the team members working.
You must be clocked in take part in the digital tip split.
